What We Do

The PIVOT program connects formerly incarcerated women to critical services through our broad partner network. We also host an intensive bootcamp-style program, teaching skills to not only re-acclimate to society, but also thrive as contributing members to their families and communities.

PIVOT’s intensive 8-week workforce development program meets Monday through Friday, simulating a workplace environment. Cohorts of 10-12 women go through the program together, building community and supporting one another as they participate in daily group workshops and receive one-on-one case management, career coaching and mental health support. The curriculum covers:

  • Emotional healing and healthy relationships

  • Communication and problem solving

  • Job readiness

  • Financial literacy

  • Parenting

  • Health and wellness

The classes are paired with connections to other critical resources including housing, medical care, addiction recovery and legal assistance.
